故事主要讲的是一个大雪纷飞的夜里，王后生下了一位美丽的公主，国王看到这个孩子皮肤洁白如雪，便给她起了个名字叫白雪公主。公主生下来不久，王后病死了。没过多久，国王又娶了一位王后，王后有一块魔镜，可以说出世界上谁最漂亮。白雪公主长大后，成了一位美丽的公主，王后看到公主比自己漂亮，就嫉妒白雪公主，于是她就请来一位猎人想杀死白雪公主，不料却被七个小矮人救下了，王后知道白雪公主没死，却被小矮人救了，王后不甘心于是变成卖杂货的老婆婆，一天王后趁着小矮人外出干活去了，便来到小矮人的家，把一半有毒的苹果给了白雪公主，我先吃青的一半，红的一半你吃，白雪公主见王后吃了青苹果没事，就结下了剩下的红苹果，刚吃一口就晕倒了，小矮人回来以后发现白雪公主躺在地上非常伤心，就给白雪公主做了一个玻璃棺材，将白雪公主放在棺材里，白雪公主躺了很长时间，依然漂亮美丽。终于一天，一位王子路过，发现白雪公主，想将她带走，小矮人同意了，王子在让人抬棺材的时候不小心绊倒了，白雪公主吃的`毒苹果吐出来后醒了，王子和白雪公主幸福的生活在一起。
